Bow Mellow creates the softest, yet stylist headbands for your little one all throughout childhood. We particulary source the best nylon fabric to suit each style and design. We pride ourselves in comfort so if you believe your baby to have sensitive head and/or falls in the high percentile for head circumference, we suggest you purchase our 'Classics' for great comfort.
HOW TO CARE FOR HEADBANDS
For our classic knot style, our headbands can be untied, washed and re-tied. With use the headband will begin to stretch like a pair of nylon tights. The fabric is designed to stretch back to its orginal state after each wash. We suggest you handwash in warm water with mild soap and air dry. For our other styles that cannot be untied, wash headband only.
WHAT IS THE SIZE OF EACH STYLE?
The headband is at 30.5cm circumference. Please bare in mind this is before it stretches. All our headbands are one size fits most and the size cannot be adjusted.
WHAT FABRICS ARE USED?
All fabric, materials, dye etc are non-toxic. The basis of our fabrics are nylon. Some prints may contain spandex and/or polyester.
ARE OUR STYLES RE-STOCKED IF SOLD OUT?
Most of our styles are restocked within 2 weeks. However most prints and limited edition designs are limited.
ARE HEADBANDS TRUE TO COLOUR?
We love to offer our customers various options and styles. Please do note that digital monitors can display colours slightly different from what they actually are. There can also be differences in dye batches. If you wish to reorder a particular style. Please kindly bare that in mind.
DELIVERY
We like to ensure your package arrives in time for your special occassion. However, delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
All orders within the UK, are shipped within 3-5 working days. Please note that our delivery service may be affected over bank holidays and during busy periods and sale periods. Specific delivery details will be confirmed at the time of order. You will only pay £3.99 for our standard delivery for each order regardless of how many items you order except for our express or nominated day delieveries.
Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping information prior to completion of order. Bow Mellow is not responsible for a package delivered to an incorrect address. Packages marked as delivered, but not 'received' by customer are the customers responsibility to locate. When your order leaves our packaging facility for shipping, we are no longer liable.
If your order doesn’t arrive, please email contact@bowmellow.co.uk within 7 days of the date by which your order should have been delivered and we’ll do our best to help you.
RETURNS
Your experience with Bow Mellow is of upmost importance to us. If for any reason you're dissastified with your purchase, please email contact@bowmellow.co.uk within 28 days of delivery to arrange a return. Proof of purchase is required for all returns and customers are responsible for return charges. As long as our headbands are in its original condition we accept returns subject to the rules below, which include rules regarding fair use. These rules do not affect your statutory rights.
Original Condition
All items must be returned in its orginal condition and packaging. Quality and safety is very important to us. If an item is returned to us damaged, worn or in an unsuitable condition, we won't be able to give you a refund and we may have to send it back to you. You will have to cover the delivery costs. All items are inspected on return. In order to receive a full refund, all items must be returned to us unworn/unused and in the same condition you received them with their original packaging and all tags and labels attached.
We don't accept returns for unwanted items after the relevant returns period above.
REFUNDS
We understand some styles may not fit its intended use or suit your little one so we're happy to refund your order within 28 days of delivery but no longer than 28 days. All refunds are by way of the orginal payment method.
Refunds can take up to 10 working days to show on your account.
We’re no longer offering exchanges to our customers. All returned items will be refunded once they've been inspected by our warehouse team. If you need a different size or colour of an item, then you'll need to place a new order.
While we'll do our best to track your order, we do not issue refunds on lost packages.
ORDER ISSUES
Missing or incorrect items
We're sorry you received an incorrect item and/or some missing items. Please accept our apologies.
We want to sort out any issues with incorrect and/or missing items straight away.
If one of the items you received isn't what you ordered, please send it back to us and we'll refund it to you if it isn't correct. We will send you a FREE returns form for postage. Please make sure to email contact@bowmellow.co.uk with proof of purchase and order details.
It can take up to 14 days for your order to reach the warehouse and be processed and refunds can take up to 10 working days to show on your account.
Cancelling an order
We're sorry you wish to cancel your order. Please email contact@bowmellow.co.uk requesting a cancellation of your order. Please include all correct details of your order to avoid any delays and/or missing time limits.
There are varying time limits in which you can cancel your order:
Standard Delivery & all other delivery options - 60 minutes after completing your order.
Next Day Delivery - 15 minutes after completing your order.
Amending an order
We're really quick at packing your order up which means we can't make any changes once you've placed it. This includes changing the delivery option, delivery address or payment method.
However, you may be able to cancel your order and place a new one subject to the varying time limits above.
